About
1º A house that arises from the need to connect one of the materials used in the art of Maria Leal da Costa, corten steel with the comfort and beauty of a home. Outside, steel gains the orange tint of rust when exposed to the oxidation reaction and remains intact over time due to its properties. Its lines designed by José Manuel Coelho give it a contemporary and authentic look.
2º The Serra de São Mamede Natural Park includes the essential of the mountain with the same name, the most important and highest of the Alentejo reliefs. This house is located in the upper building of the Quinta, next to the exhibition hall and gallery, it is the most recent of Quinta do Barrieiro. It was designed in such a way that you never forget where you have been. Overlooking the highest peak in Alentejo, you have a terrace at the front of the room where you can enjoy the panoramic view of the mountains.
